Cold Frosty Morning

Home YBA Bands

“Cold Frosty Morning” consists of Phil Fadley-Stringed Instrument, Dennis Anderson-Stringed Instrument and Vocals, Pete Michelotti-Stringed Instrument and Vocals, Dave Webinger-Stringed Instrument and vocals, and Rick Wingerter-Stringed Instrument and Vocals.

Some people say that the band got its name from a song title, by the looks of their picture, they could be the “Bear Butte Boys.”

The band members are bitterly divided over whether they should play bluegrass music at all.  The playing of bluegrass is expressly forbidden in the band’s constitution, but that document disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

The band’s official bird is the Foo, the official tree is the Yew, and the official sheep is the Ewe.  The official motto is “If Rock and Roll is good enough for Doc, take two aspirin and call us in the morning.”

These musicians met at the Yellowstone Bluegrass Association Friday night jams.  They have been playing together regularly since September 2002, and as seen by their biography, are a fun loving group of guys.
